Doug has over 20 years of underwriting and leadership experience in both the US and London (re)insurance markets.

Most recently he was EVP and Head of Casualty and Professional lines at Brit Global Specialty USA where he aided in the build-out of Brit’s US operation, responsible for over $300m GWP. Before leaving Brit, Doug helped navigate their successful merger with its wholly owned subsidiary, Ambridge Partners, transitioning into a full-fledged MGA.

Prior to Brit Doug held roles at Catlin US and The Hartford. He is a graduate of Merrimack College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Accounting.
